Thrive in a welcoming community

At Gattaca, we’re committed to creating an environment where everyone feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed. Diversity, equity, and inclusion aren’t just policies - they’re part of who we are and how we work. We believe that by fostering a culture of belonging, we unlock the full potential of our people and deliver the best outcomes for our clients and communities.
Inclusion Starts Before You Walk in the Door
We are dedicated to ensuring an inclusive experience from the very first interaction. Our hiring process is designed to accommodate individual needs, offering reasonable adjustments to support candidates with disabilities or other requirements. This commitment continues once you join us, with workplace accommodations and flexible working options to ensure every colleague can perform at their best.
We are proud to champion an inclusive workplace where different perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences come together to drive innovation and success. Our diversity strategy is led by our Head of ED&I and embedded into our culture through education, policies, and meaningful action.

We have dedicated inclusive spaces across all our office locations, as part of our efforts to create an environment where everyone can be themselves. These range from break out spaces, wellbeing and multi-faith rooms, and places to collaborate with colleagues, candidates and clients with ease.

Benefits, your way
We know that your life doesn't begin and end when you walk into our offices. We are committed to ensuring you are looked after inside and outside of work through our tailored benefits package. Our colleagues enjoy a wide range of core and voluntary company benefits, which are available through our Benefits Hub.
We know everyone is different, so we offer options to cater for all.
Gattaca will provide you with a pot of budget in your annual enrolment window known as the benefit allowance (0.5% of your salary), to put towards the Voluntary benefits of your choosing.
We continually review our benefits scheme to make sure that we’re offering something for everyone, so what’s on offer can change from time to time.

Share your voice
Our three core Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are networks that bring people together around shared experiences and interests, providing support, raising awareness, and driving positive change in our workplace:
- ESG: Led by our Head of ESG with cross-business representatives, this group advances initiatives for our people and supports clients’ ESG goals.
- ED&I: Includes a “speak up” network, LGBTQIA+ allies, and a menopause chat group, led by sector ambassadors fostering equity and inclusion.
- Wellbeing: Comprising mental health first aiders and HR, this group promotes colleague wellbeing, supported by a regularly updated wellbeing hub.
In addition to our formal ERGs, we have several colleague-led networks, including Sports clubs, Menopause support and our females-in-careers network, Limitless.

“Our internal Limitless Programme is just one example that brings our inclusive work environments to life; a women in careers network that is open to all who are committed to positively impacting gender equity.
Our Limitless Programme aims to give colleagues new insights, boost confidence, and act as a platform where your voice can be heard and your career can thrive.”

Recognised as a Great Employer
We are proud to have been recognised as one of the Best Staffing Firms to Work For by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA). This award is based on feedback from our colleagues and reflects our dedication to creating a workplace where people feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
We have also been recognised for a number of culture-driven awards, like the British Culture Awards and The TIARA Recruitment awards.

“More so than anywhere else I have ever worked, Gattaca has a really embedded culture of recognition and gratitude, which is encouraged at all levels.
Every week, individuals from across the business submit ‘kudos’ for their colleagues’ successes. We're also invited to nominate our colleagues for annual awards aligning to each of our values.
These awards recognise not just the brilliant work our people are delivering, but who they are as people.
I was lucky enough to win the Fun award in 2023, and I felt really privileged to be recognised."
