Headhunter – Recruitment to Recruitment Specialist
Matchtech is seeking a Headhunter (Rec2Rec Specialist) on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with flexibility for shorter or longer engagements. This role offers the opportunity to contribute immediately, strengthen our recruiter pipeline, and support the continued growth of our respected STEM recruitment brand.

You’ll be at the forefront of identifying, approaching, and securing high-calibre recruitment professionals who can help us drive growth across our high-performing sectors.
This is a consultative, proactive position where you’ll combine deep market knowledge with exceptional headhunting skills to attract and engage the very best recruiters in the industry.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Proactively headhunt recruitment professionals with experience within our sectors, building on our industry knowledge and capabilities.
- Advise and influence internal stakeholders, candidates with up-to-date market intelligence, salary benchmarking, and best practice hiring strategies.
- Build and maintain a strategic pipeline of recruitment talent to support ongoing and future growth.
- Partner with our sector leaders and hiring managers to design effective recruitment strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor throughout the hiring process, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience.
- Champion an inclusive, efficient, and high-integrity recruitment process that reflects Matchtech and Gattaca’s values.

We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Has proven experience in headhunting or Rec2Rec recruitment, or an extensive recruitment background with strong sourcing expertise.
- Understands what motivates recruiters, whether that’s commission structures, progression opportunities, or cultural alignment.
- Can build trust quickly and influence senior decision-makers while guiding candidates through pivotal career moves.
- Brings a consultative, insight-driven approach to conversations, with the ability to position Matchtech as an employer of choice.
- (Bonus) Has experience in Recruitment Marketing and can bring fresh ideas for employer branding and content design.
